Cheeks

Filler is used to lift and contour the cheeks. Adding cheek volume draws the eye upward and makes the face appear slimmer and more refined. It also reduces the appearance of the nasolabial folds.

Dermal Filler BEFORE & AFTER

Dermal Filler FAQ's

Fillers are usually composed of hyaluronic acid, or HA, a carbohydrate (sugar derivative) found in the body naturally. As a result of repeated exposure to environmental pollutants and UV rays, our skin cells lose the ability to produce HA as we age. This results in harsh and sunken facial features. Then it’s time for volume-building injections of synthesized hyaluronic acid. When injected under the skin, hyaluronic acid binds to water, allowing it to hold thousands of times its weight, making it ideal for hydrating the skin and maintaining tissue volume.

Although dermal fillers provide immediate results, it’s important to understand that they don’t last forever. Repeat treatments will depend on how the face ages and how well the body absorbs fillers. Following dermal filler treatment, we ask that you not exercise for 24 hours.

The longevity of fillers differs from person to person and from treatment to treatment. Some bodies may metabolize the product faster than others since the product is injected into the body. As a general rule, fillers last between six and nine months, but they can last as long as a year.

As facial fillers are a temporary solution, recurring treatments will be required to maintain results.

Bruising is possible, so you should plan 2 weeks ahead of any events or vacations.
